LEMONS & YOUR BODY

 Hey there, Welcome to another edition of Healthy Edibles Weekly Newsletter. This week our healthy food gist is centered around the latest food rave, "LEMONS". Apparently, Lemon is the new dope. A bottle of lemon water in hand and you begin to get stares of awe and approval. Well, while most are just crazy about this new rave, only few understand the health implications of consuming lemon. It can even be used to bake meat, fish and vegetables. But, asides all these cooking functions, Lemon can serve the body better. Hello, I had an interview with my friend, Oge, on her weight loss journey, which I found really inspiring. She has agreed to share it with Healthy Edibles family 🤗 Below are some of the questions she was asked and her answers. I hope it inspires you too😊 1. Tell me about your weight gain story. It all started about 3years ago. I started gaining weight and  I honestly liked it at first. But after about 6 months to a year, it wasn’t nice anymore and I couldn’t control it. Then, a painful and heartbreaking situation happened to me and I unknowingly started having eating disorder. I more or less found happiness and solace in food. At that period, the weight gain got worse and it affected me psychologically. I had self image issues— saw myself as ugly, even when I knew I was beautiful.
